Mermaid Greetings - I miss Seeing you

Hi again.

I can't believe that another month is almost over.

Today is  my turn again to share another project with you.

Today I have made a card using a cute mermaid stamp from Picket Fence Studios.

To create this card I have painted plain card with acrylic paint and the die cut them out using The
Avery Elle Wonky stitches Die.

The Stamped image is coloured with Copic markers and also cut out using the co-ordinating Die.

Supplies used:

Picket Fence Studios - I am a Mermaid Stamp ( By Request. link shows a similar set)
Avery Elle - Wonky stitches Die
Avery Elle - Sweet Scallops Die

There are some great new ranges listed in the store, don't forget to stop by to have a look.

Until Next Time

that gratitude is...

Hi, Emily here sharing a card featuring the pretty Demure stamp from Penny Black and a die from the Stitched Borders set by Lawn Fawn.

I’ve coloured my image using Tim Holtz Distress Ink and layered up the mats for some interest.  The stitched dies are fab, they let you lay down a line of stitching anywhere you want so I could make the frame the perfect size for my stamp.  The die cutting was actually the longest part of making this card, the image is so gorgeous but there’s not much to colour so once I had it stamped and embossed it took no time to watercolour the touch of Distress Ink.  Well, OK, maybe cutting and adhering all those mats took the longest but I do love the effect!

This really is a high impact card made from very supplies.  That’s what I love about these Penny Black stamps, you get a gorgeous card without needing a huge craft room full of supplies or loads of time.  But the impact of a handmade thank you to someone’s day can be just so huge because sharing handmade kindness really matters.  So much I added the fab stamp with that sentiment to the back of my envelope, it’s from The Stamping Village and called Mail Delivery – love this set!

Stampendous! Embossing Powder – Detail Gold
Stampin' Up! – Climbing Roses (sentiment stamp)

Don’t forget to play along in our current challenge, the theme is always anything goes and you could win five digi stamps of your choice from Bizzy Bec's store.  And for more inspiration follow us over at Instagram at BizzyBec3

Hello Friend - Mama Elephant Mini Cat Agenda

Hello papercrafters! Today I'm sharing a cute card using the new Mama Elephant/Hampton Art Mini Cat Agenda stamp and die combo set. This set is a new add on to the original Mini Cat Agenda.
It has twelve of the cutest cats ever in various poses and is just the right number to use along with the Grid Window frame cuts. For the sentiment, I have used the Hello Friend Script die and is just the perfect size to go across over the frames.
The cats were a lot of fun to colour in, they have been stamped first with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and then coloured with Copic markers. The coordinating dies greatly help to cut the cats out and just brings them to life.

To help display each of the cats, I die cut out the Grid Window Frame using the heavier weight 110 lbs Neena White cardstock. I die cut out three to get extra thickness and height to make the frame pop.

The background has been ink blended using Ranger distress oxide inks: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral and Wilted Violet. The four colours make up the bands for each of the four rows in a ombre gradient effect. I then splattered water with a paint brush to get the subtle water distress effects for added texture.

The Hello Friend Scripty die has been die cut out three times and glued together to get a chipboard look in black cardstock.

All the cute cats have been adhered with foam dimensionals to make them pop as well as clear glossy accents and clear Wink of Stella for the items they are holding and wearing.

This set is available to pre-order from Bizzy Becs Online Store and is such a great value as a combo set. It's great for many occasions from cards to planners and especially to cat lovers.
