Kaleidoscope Card with alcohol inks

Hi There!

Today I am sharing with you a card I have made using the gorgeous Spellbinders Kaleidoscope Die.
 I hope you like it.

It is always so hard to come up with ideas for male cards and I needed a card for my husband's birthday.

The background is alcohol inks on Alcohol ink cardstock, blended together with alcohol blending solution.

The kaleidoscope die has been cut out and foiled with copper hot foil.

The sentiments are simply stamped on black card and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Supplies used:

Spellbinders: Kaleidoscope Die
Lawn Fawn: Happy Happy Happy stamp set
Creative Expressions Sue Wilson : Fabulous  mini expression die

Thanks for stopping by

Until next time

...when they are wide open in flight

Hi, Emily here for my very first post as a DT member.  I’m excited to be sharing a card featuring the gorgeous Tiny Townie Blanche the Butterfly.

So sorry for the dodgy photo, not my best effort for my first post but I totally forgot to take a proper one before giving this card to its intended recipient.  This one was taken over cake with my phone!

I’ve coloured Blanche using Tim Holtz Distress Inks before matting the watercolour paper on a sheet of glitter paper and mounting on a card base.  I went with a glitter paper mat to match my sparkling birthday sentiment.

Don’t forget to play along in our current challenge, the theme is always anything goes and you could win a die or stamp selected by Bec.  And for more inspiration follow us over at Instagram at BizzyBec3

Ingredients
*   Penny Black ~ 30-297 Sprinkles and Smiles (not currently listed but you can email Bec and she’ll order it in for you if still available)
*   Tim Holtz Distress Ink ~ Antique Linen, Black Soot, Blueprint Sketch, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Spun Sugar & Tea Dye (email Bec for any colours not listed in the shop)
*   The flowers are a Stampin’ Up! Sale-abration set from last year and the pearls and glitter paper from my stash

Emily xx
