Sending Big Hugs

Hi :)
Louise here with you today to share a card I made with Lawn product for Bizzy Bec.
If you go to the store there are currently no items available in stock, however you can email Bec using the contact link to order items.   Bec hasn't listed any lawn Fawn products on the new site yet due to postage delays because of COVID-19

Which brings me to my card.  New Zealand is currently in lockdown doe to the Delta variant getting out into some of our communites.  Guess we were being a little too kind to everyone coming "back home" and let one through with positive results.

Anyway, I feel like there are loads of people out there at the moment alone in their bubbles that could do with a big hug.  I know that when my hubby comes home at night from his essential worker position I certainly need one after a day of dreaded homeschooling GAG!

I coloured the image from "Happy Hugs" with copic markers.
The die is "Giant Sending Big Hugs"

And that is about it, pretty easy, quick card.
Hope you all continue to stay safe,
Hugs
Lou

Catching Butterflies

Hi, Louise here with you today to share a card made with Lawn Fawn products.
Bec has a few products loaded in the shop, and once things are a little more normal with shipping she will be able to get things back in to order.  However if you contact Bec, she will do her best to source available product.

I am a bit sick of the Winter weather we have been having so I decided to make a lovely springy card.  Only 1 month and a bit to go until Spring is here again

I started off by making my background using a cloud stencil and a grass stencil with I inked using distress inks with my blender brushes.

I then added my die cut fence and Avery Elle Happy Birthday Diecut.

I coloured up some images from Lawn Fawn Butterfly kisses stamp set using my markers then fussy cut them and adhered them to my card.

Hope you enjoy my card and get a little inspiration :)
Lou

More of Bizzy Bec's digital flowers

Today I would like to show you some more of the fantastic flower digital images in the Store.  This time I am working with Cosmos Trio and Peony Single.

If you are like me, occasionally it is good to have a break from making cards over and over again.

I am getting into junk journals and I decided to add these flower images to a Secret Garden junk journal I am creating.  I will incorporate flower and fairy images into the pages of the journal.  Of course it is a WIP creation so who knows how long it will take!

I have layered the three flower images onto the page, using foam tape where required.

The journal pages I purchased from Junk Journal & Papercraft Printables by TheJournalBoat on Etsy

Supplies used
Cosmos Trio digital stamp
Peony Single digital stamp

Thanks for joining me todayand don't forget there is still time to join in the
July "Anything Goes" Blog Challenge.  Hope to see your entry there.

Artist Palette

A fun page in my art journal,  using a variety of colours of dylusion sprays for my background. Stamping several times onto water colour papers and fussy cutting to overlap my brushes. Brushes were painted with

Dyslusion sprays as well.

I have used:

Dark room door [pre order] stamps

Artist brushes and Artist Palette

Butterfly Wishes....

Hi everyone, my turn today to share with you my latest inspiration using products available to order via Bizzy Becs Store.

For my card I have been playing with Tim Holtz Distress Paints, the same effect however can be achieved using the Distress Ink Pads available to order in store.  I placed small dots of Kitsch Flamingo and  Carved Pumpkin onto my slip mat and then spritzed with water.  I then dabbed my watercolour paper onto the paint until I had the desired look.  After drying with my heat tool I added splatters of Salvaged Patina, spritzed lightly and then dried, before stamping on my Butterflies.  Very happy with how my card turned out.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versamark and then applied White Embossing Powder.

Supplies used:

Darkroom Door Stamp Set DDRS220 - Spread your Wings

(not listed in store but is a new release and can be ordered

a Similar stamp to use is Butterflies

Distress Paint - Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin & Salvaged Patina

Avery Elle Die - Wonky Stitches

There are some lovely items available in stock and for preorder in store, so pop on over and check out all the new goodies.

Our current monthly challenge is up and running so please join us.  We love seeing what everyone creates each month.

Until next time, happy crafting
