CC Designs at Bizzy Becs

Hi guys, back again with another creation for you all.
I wanted to ink up this gorgeous Swiss Pixie Stamp that I got from Bizzy Bec. Bec currently has 35% off CC Designs Stamps, click the link from the Store Home Page or in the left sidebar. I didn't actually see this sweetie there, so contact Bec to see if she can get her in for you.

 

 

I don't have any large dies so I made my die cut shape by first cutting a scrap piece of paper to the same size as my card. The I folded it in half, then half again. Then fold that square into a triangle shape, keeping all the folds on the same side. I just drew up a little diagram so you can see what I'm talking about!!

I actually drew around the edge of my DP with a black marker rather than matting it.. added some faux stitching, never seem to think to add it to my cards, and I love the result! Would be lovely to own a REAL sewing machine. So I did the same around my image, which matched perfectly with the stitched ribbon I got from Bec's yonks ago!!

OMGosh bloggers... I'd completely forgotten I made this corner bookmark, like weeks ago!

I didn't follow any instructions, just made her up as I went. I kept it really simple as I thought there's no point adding a heap of large embellies.. then my book wouldn't even shut!!

If you are after some instructions on how to make one of these corner bookmarks I have found a great one for you all HERE on Split Coast Stampers. I traced and hand cut the flowers from another flower in my stash.

Hi all,I hope you had a lovely easter,I know I did,but OMG there was so much food and now I am paying for it....lol....Here is my first card from the newly released Daisy Collection.I decided that this Daisy needed to look Tropical and this is what I ended up with.All of my flowers and leaves are stamped and punched,I have used markers for some of the centres and then added some pearls.These images are beautiful and they are perfect for any occasion,as you can see by the gorgeous creations of the DT.Well must be off,I have some cards to make,enjoy your day.

Crystal from Miss Cherry Martini

Hi Sue here, hope you have all had a lovely Easter, and are all safe and well and not to much heavier from all that chocolate!

I have used the gorgeous Crystal, from the Cherry Martini range, these gals are just awesome. I have kept this one very plan, I was worried it was too plan but Rick (my DH) said it was perfect !!

Just wanted to quickly jump on here to wish you all a safe and happy easter.  Do you have lots planned??  Are you making the most of the extra long Australian long weekend??  (we got a 5 day weekend here in Australia).  Or are you just sitting back and taking it easy with friends and family??

Miss Crystal- One of a Kind!

 Hi it's Debra and I wanted to share with you all my tag I made using School girl Crystal from the new Miss Cherry Martini Colllection over at Bizzy Becs.

 I love this girl and the last time I coloured and made a card with her was touching on a little of the Dark side, so this time I just wanted to show  how different she looks when coloured in pretty Pink Shades.

 Dont forget the challenge this month on Bizzy Becs Blog is to make your own DP paper. For my background paper I have used a sheet of paper from a childrens book, some gesso and Distress inks.You still have plenty of time to get those entries in to win a fabulous prize.

Tonight I'm sharing daisy with sunglasses with you for a bit of saturday night inspiration.

I have coloured Daisy with copics and have used a light pink for the shadow rather than the traditional brown/grey.

The gorgeous pin, roses and mini cherry blossoms, ribbon and the copics are all available from Bizzy Bec's wonderful store.

As is the uber sweet Daisy with sunglasses.

Hi guys, we've been seeing so many of the latest release digis from Blue Butterfly stamps, I just wanted to remind you all of the other stamps available at Bizzy Becs, including the gorgeous rubbers from CC Designs, including Honey; Sugar Plums, Sweet November Stamps; Swiss Pixies and the gorgeous latest releases of Kiki La Rue & Fairytale Collection. If Bec doesn't have what you're looking for in stock.. send her an email and she may be able to get it in for you.

I have been a fan of the gorgeous CC Designs images for a long time now, and Kiki La Rue is one of my favourites! And how sweet is this one? The new 'Spring Kiki' (currently out of stock, but like I said, email Bec and she may be able to get her in for you), is just as adorable as all the others.

I've used Kiki on a birthday card, I'm having a bit of a love affair with my paper doilies once again, perhaps to compensate for the lack of flowers, I just love the pretty edges on them and how they help fill the space. Be sure to check out all the doilies Bec has available HERE. I'm missing those square ones Bec had.. hopefully we'll see them again soon :)

I just love this line. It suits teenagers so well!

Don't even ask me where yellow & purple came together, cuz I really don't know. Just figured it would be something different and well, yup.....it sure is! I like how it looks though!
