Hello everyone! I hope your all having a great weekend so far. I just wanted to share a card I needed to whip together pretty quickly for a friend at last minute. I have used Magnolia stamp, Copic Markers, Lace Ribbon, Trinket Pins and mini pink roses which are all available from Bizzy Bec's!

Picnic Basket Tutorial by Leonie

Isnt it the sweetest little picnic box??  i have used two Tildas from the Cozy Autumn collection!  Both coloured with copics and the paper is Cosmo Cricket.

ok now here is the instructions!!

Cut the following pieces out of cardstock.

1: Handle: 2cm x 30 cm.

2: Yoke: 2cm x 18 cm. On this I scored a line 4 cm in from each side.

3: The box: 18 x 22 cm. On This I score a line 4 cm in from every side. Then cut in along the score lines on the long sides til you meet the next score line so you end up with flaps that you then fold in to form the box.

4. Cover: 20.5 x 10.5 cm. On this you need to score at 3cms and then 9cms from each end.   you should end up with a 2cm section in the middle.  this is where you attach it to the yoke a bit later.  i also used a corner rounder on my ends but this is not necessery.

I would then put the patterned paper on at this point while its easier. You wont need to decorate the yoke bit as you wont see it.

Fold the flaps in on the box and glue to form the base box. Find the centre of the box sides and glue on the yoke piece so that it runs across the middle of the box.

Then you need to attach the lid to your box.  The middle section of your lid gets glued to the yoke.
 
You can then attach the handle.  You can either glue the handle or attch with brads if you want it to move. 
 
And thats it!!  Now decorate to your hearts content!!  And fill with something yummy like chocolates.
 
i'm using mine to give to my daughters teacher as a small christmas gift filled with yummy chocolates and candy canes.

I have used Apple Tilda and Tilda with Cherry BAsket from the Cozy Autumn collection.  Doohickey die for the 'lace', Organza ribbon and flowers all from Bizzy Bec's.  Copics are also available in store at an awesome price!!

DT Rellz - Card Inspiration

Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad Jovial, Red Cotton lace, Black buds and bows ribbon, Black rose.

Skin and shoes were coloured using copics. Clothes were paper pieced using the BG Jovial paper as well.

Image is a Hanglar and Stanglar stamp.  Unfortunately Bec is unable to stock these as they are available in Sweden only.  :(
