Christmas card with Koko and the reindeer

  

Hello everyone 

It's my turn to share a card and I have used

 the gorgeous Koko and Reindeer Digital stamp.

I have been watching a few videos on YouTube and really wanted to try colouring in 

a snow scape with my Copic markers.

I have printed the Digital stamp onto Xpress-It blending card and coloured it in with my Copic pens.

I have then drawn in freehand the snow line in the background.

 

Colouring the night sky was next starting with my darkest blue and moving down through to the

 lightest blue leaving a circle in the top edge to add my moon which I have drawn in freehand.

The trees are drawn freehand on top of the coloured night sky.

I have fussy cut out my coloured in elephant and reindeer and glued them down onto my 

completed background.

Once everything is in place I have used a white gel pen to add the snow! 

It does take awhile that's for sure 

Lastly I have stamped my sentiment and cut it down to size.

 Lastly I have trimmed down my card using a large stitched rectangle die.

Slim Line Birthday...

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful month.

I have been seeing lots of slim line cards recently and have been itching to have a go.  So after having a play I have managed to create my first. 

I created my background using Distress Oxides  and a little water then followed with  a splatter of white paint and grey ink.

 Hi everyone, we are looking for creative members to join our team - 

Do you love making  cards, scrapbooking, mixed media projects etc, then we could be looking for you!

Bizzy Becs is an online card and scrapbooking store that is Western Australian owned and operated and we are looking for creative crafters to promote our products.

Being a part of our Design Team you will be required to do:

• Submit 2 items each month - 1 as a joint Design Team post on the 5th of each month and the other on your own allocated posting date.  (you may also be required to submit an extra item if we have a special event  - however lots of notice will be given)  
• You will be required to comment  using your given number on the monthly store challenge participants entiries.
• You are expected to comment on and support your fellow Design Team members, therefore you must have the ability to work in a Team and work to a Deadline.
• You must have an active blog and be prepared to link back to Bizzy Becs Store Blog from your personal blog to the product pages for product you have used in the store.
• An ability to use Digital Stamps (an advantage but not necessary)
• Promote and share where possible Bizzy Becs on different  social media platforms ie: Your personal blog, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc.
• You are free to use cardmaking, scrapbooking, mixed media, altered art, art journalling etc as long as you use product that is sold through the store as your main focus.  Other products not sold through the store are permitted when used in your design.

Hi there

I have a new project to share with you

 and features the Stampingbella Tiny Townie

Susie the Succulent stamp.

I love this cute little image and decided to stamp on craft card and 

colour with Prismacolor pencils.

Once coloured in I have die cut the image to frame it and double 

mounted onto terracotta and black card.

I have die cut the word "awesome" twice and shaded with 

pencils to accent the word allowing it to stand out a little.

Penny Black Silhouette card

  

Hi there 

I thought I would share a quick card for Bizzy Becs today.

To create this card I used my blending brushes and distress oxide inks to create my back ground. 

I started blending Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide at the top of my card, then blended that into Milled Lavender followed by Worn Lipstick and finally Dusty Concord creating a light sunset sky.

Once I had the right depth of colour and tones I allowed the ink to dry off completely so that I could stamp and emboss my image in the next step.

Using a stamping platform I have stamped my images in black ink and coated with clear embossing powder to help the black pop off the background

My sentiment is simply cut out of black card and glued onto the card.

Trees....

 Hi everyone.

Popping in today to share with you a new card using a couple of the wonderful Darkroom Door products that are available to preorder via the store.  

I created an inky background on some Ranger Watercolour Paper using some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Gathered Twigs and Black Soot.  My image was stamped in Versafine Clair ink - Nocturne (these maybe available for order just contact Bec). This was then backed with Charcoal Bazzil cardstock to compliment.
