Whimsy Girl Iris

Hi there,

It's my turn on the blog today and I have made a card using the Whimsy stamp
Iris.

I have stamped the image onto Illustration card as it is super for coloured pencils. To colour and blend I have used Prismacolor coloured pencils.

Pencils are softer in appearance than Copic markers, and the result is quite soft.

I have used simple colours to frame the card and mounted the second layer( grey) onto craft foam for added dimension.

Supplies used:

Until next time

Butterfly Kisses - Fluttering by to say hi...

Hi everyone.

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day. Today I'm sharing a fun pop-up box card using the adorable Butterfly Kisses stamp set from Lawn Fawn. Just love the cute Spring critters and having them in a pop up box just brings them to life.

I first stamped the images in Hero Arts Intense black ink (copic friendly) and coloured them in with copic markers for quick and simple colouring. There are coordinating dies that goes with the set but have cut them out using an electronic cutter - may need to get the dies later on hehe.

The pop-up box card is created using the Scalloped Box card pop-up die from Lawn Fawn. It such a great and versatile die and have used it often to create an instant box card with many fun scenes.

Thin acetate sheets have been used to prop up the butterflies to give the effect of them fluttering in the air.

For the papers, I have used Lawn Fawn 6x6 inch petite papers: Spiffy Speckles and the Really Rainbow colour coordinating patterns for the front and back, this helps to make it a lot sturdier. The grass has also been created using the same Really Rainbow petite patterned paper. The particular die to create this is from Lawn Fawn - Shadow Box card and the inserts from that die set works with the Scalloped box card pop-up die.

The sentiment has been white heat embossed on black cardstock. The little wavy banner has been die cut out using the mini pop-up box die from Lawn Fawn. I have die cut another piece from fun foam to have the banner raised up.

Hope this has inspired you to create a fun scene using your favourite critters. Lawn Fawn sets are just amazing and are so much fun, love how they all coordinate with many sets. 'Til next time, have a happy crafting day. :)

Hi everyone.

Popping in today to share with you my card for this month.  I have created
this card using a Digital Stamp released last year by Bizzy Becs and
is a real cutie.

Coming up this month it is my Great Niece's 1st birthday and Skittle was
a perfect choice for her card.

To create the shaker look I cut my backing plate die 4 times in
white card stock, then the top layer was die cut in lavendar.  I  added a piece
of acetate cut to size, then glued all layers together.   Pastel seed beads were then added into some of the recesses, before sealing with white cardstock.

supplies used:

Bizzy Becs Digital Stamp - Skittle
Frantic Stamper Die -  Diamond Galore
(Not  listed but maybe ordered if available - Double Diamonds is similar and could be used also)
Sue Wilson Die  Mini Expressions - Happy
(not listed but maybe ordered if available this one is similar and could be modified
Copic Markers

There has been some yummy items added to the store that are available now for
pre-order.  Pop on over and check them out.

On Sunday it is Mothers Day here in Australia, so have a wonderful day and hope
you are spoilt and pampered appropriately.

Until next time Happy Crafting
