Happy Anniversary oddball style

Hi I have a card for you,

I made this one for my hubby for our wedding anniversary which also happens to be today!

At least I know my Hubby doesn't read my blog! lol

My card Today features 2 of the Stamping Bella Oddball people that I have stamped in Memento
Tuxedo black ink and coloured with Copic Markers

The background is alcohol Inks on Neenah card instead of the glossy alcohol ink card or Yupo.

I used a technique that Kelsey taught us using PVA Glue to create some texture and layering over this the alcohol inks and blending solution.

After colouring the stamped images I have freehand fussy cut them out and layered them onto the base card that I have cut the heart die into.

This layer has been mounted onto the textured Alcohol Ink background with foam tape.

Supplies used:

Hero Arts Infinity Dies: Nesting Hearts
Memento ink pad: Tuxedo black

Thanks for stopping in to have a look there are some wonderful new products added to the store so please pop in for a look.

Until next time

Gnomely Fooling Around

I have had this super cute set from Lawn Fawn OH GNOME for a little while but only had a chance to ink it up over the weekend.

It is really versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.
I made this card for a friend at bootcamp :)

I coloured up the images with alcohol markers.
The grass is cut using grassy hillside borders die
the clouds were cut using a die similar to Taylored Expressions cloud die

Hope my card has inspired you

14 Huh!

What is it about teenage boys and the use of the sound "Huh"!

Fractionally better than "Grunt" but still not saying much.....

My Grandson (whom I love dearly) turns 14 tomorrow
so I made him this card

Tim Holtz Bird stamps and dies
(as I coloured with Copic pens)
The hat and balloon are also Tim Holtz - Crazy Things Collection
(just ask Bec to order them for you)
The card base is Kraft card
I used a fine black pen to outline

The two stamps - bag and hockey stick - are from a magazine freebie set (Practical Publishing)
 called A Good Sport

The sentiment is made from lettering stickers
- but could have been stamped with alphabet stamps

...seems always just beyond your grasp

Hi, Emily here sharing a card featuring one of the images from the Butterflies set by Darkroom Door.

https://emilyshroom.blogspot.com/2019/11/may-alight-upon-you.html

I’ve kept my colour scheme limited and maximised my white space to really focus the eye on the gorgeous butterfly, which I stamped over the self-affirming sentiment done in Dusty Concord DI and clear embossing powder.

Ingredients
Grass Green Rhinestones from stash
