Hello - Ina here and Welcome to my December Inspiration Post.

I have been anxiously waiting for my pre order of

Tim's Wildflower Stems 1 from Our Bizzy Becs Store

which I have wanted for like forever! 

and you know when you get something new you

have to try it out.

I kept it simple this time but I have

so many ideas using this die with 

the Wildflowers and Stems 2 in the New Year.

I used Designer Paper for the background

and die cut three cream flowers and an extra one

shadowed and coloured with Nuvo Powders adding extra 

with Metallic Coral to the centre.

Sentiment is again from my favourite

Dark Room Door Happy Birthday set.

Added some gold thread behind it.

Attached to cream linen card base.

Tim Holtz Stamps - Bird Crazy

 Recently I did a mixed media challenge at a virtual retreat.  The prompts given were journal page, paint, book print pages torn up, stencil or black marker with triangles and of course a vocal point.  I decided to use a Bird Crazy stamp for my vocal point.

                                 

I had so much fun doing this, I did another page using Tim Holtz Stamps - Bird Crazy  This time I used yellow and red paint, bubble wrap, a stamp from my stash I haven't used for ages (cracks), Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers, a cat stencil and a black Posca.

Poinsettia Christmas....

Hi everyone.

Karen here, it is my turn today to share with you my latest creation.

I have had this Pointsettia 3D die in my stash for some time and I have finally got an opportunity to use it.  Although this is not currently listed in the store, I am sure if it is still available Bec would be able to order for you.  I have taken inspiration with the foil for my card from Google, but have used Silver instead of Gold to highlight the Pointsettia.. 

Before embossing I inked the inside of one side on the embossing folder with Distress Oxide in Crackling Campfire and Speckled Egg, spritzed it with water, then run my cardstock through my BigShot.  When dry I stamped around the edge of the cardstock using an older Stampers Anonymous Stamp called Fragments  (from my stash)  and Archival Stamp Pad in Hickory Smoke and also inked around the outside edge.  I then  painted the Pointsettia with Tim Holtz  Distress Resist Spray and ran it though my Mink Machine to set the Silver Foil.

Before mounting to my card base I run some Finnabair Alchemy Wax in Brushed Iron  around the black cardstock to co-ordinate with the foil.

Although it does show up very well, I have also stamped and embossed in silver at the bottom of the card.
