Hi Karen here, just popping in to say hi.  

Today I would like to share with you a card made using a die and matching stamp set from Avery Elle called  "Bring on the Cake"

I have also used Avery Elle "Wonky Stiches Die" which can be found to preorder in store.

I have sprinkled the cake with glass glitter "Twinklets Diamond Dust"   and the sentiment has been stamped with "Ranger Archival Ink".  

Remember if there is something you like and it is not listed in the store just email Bec and she can let you know if it can be ordered in for you.

Well I can't believe that May is as good as gone and June is just around the corner.

I am sharing with you a housewarming card that I made for a friend.

I love this Lawn Fawn stamp and die set.

I have coloured the stamped and die cut images with Copic Markers.

Out Door Wedding Card

This card was created for a friend whose son is getting married outdoors in a couple of weeks.

A Little Card for a Crafty Friend!

This gorgeous rubber stamp and sentiment is called 'tiny townie Penelope has a pencil'  from the Stamping Bella range available in the store. It has been cut out using Memory Box Stitched Layer Circles. Bec can order these in for you. I really like how easy it is to place other sentiments I already have alongside this image!

Penny Black "In The Garden" + How to do Simple 3D Stamped Images

Hi folks - Shaz here with another tutorial! :D
There is much more "how to" detail on my blog, if you hop over there. 

This is 3D images with stamps - a favourite in this instance, Penny Black!
Bec has such exceptional prices on these, I was thrilled when saw:
Penny Black in the Garden on Bec's site (pre-order)!

Here is the first card made with this set, not done in 3D. Stamped in black + embossed, coloured with watercolour markers. Then decided to 3D the second card.
 {Used: **Penny Black "In the Garden" stamp set  **Memory Box Pinpoint circles. }

You create your own scene with these images, as there are all different elements from which to chose. 1. I always practise on a scrap sheet before leaping onto good paper.
2. I stamp on 80gsm paper, a light card, as heavy card is harder to shape well.
3. Used to do more stamping for 3D work. I find you really don't need to do lots of multiple stamping (see here for full explanation).

Here is the amount of stamping for this 3D scene. A good background, then elements you wish to 3D on another piece. The cat and basket will be cut out separately, so they are shaped and glued individually.
Items used: *Shaping Tool *Foam molding mat *Silicone glue - available from Bec.

This is the finished second card which was done with 3D.
  Items used: **Pre-order Blackberry Lane papers by Wild Rose Studio pads  **Pre-order Our Daily Bread Beautiful Borders die set.

Close up of 3D work, coloured with same pens, background sponged while still in die to get crisp white shadow edge, with Distress ink and hand cut hills + clouds mask.

I have learnt how to do these after seeing it first done at a craft show in Brisbane in 2010.
They are so much fun!
